Palin's view of Stay at Home Moms

Follow the link to watch the short you-tube video clip on Doug's blog. Hmmmm...wow. One more reason for me not to vote for her if she ran for Pres.

Come on, those mom's need to "evolve"; contradicts your Christian worldview. Just pointing it out, that's all. I'm not about being against her in every way.

Palin's statements are disturbing. On one hand, she stands for some very conservative, pro-American, pro-freedom values, but on the other hand, she is in reality picking and choosing, at least Biblically, what to stand for and not. She wants it all, just don't tell her she has any role other than whatever she decides is right in her own eyes.

So am I a neanderthal because I choose to live out the role that God created me for? I dare say no, and pity those who think so.

Interesting.

There would goes one less vote for her... It almost makes me mad... she is a good person, but doesn't apply all a scripture to all of life. She is a Christan feminist... That is how i see it.... :D

I consider myself to be pretty darn conservative but I'm with you 100% on this. Frankly, I'm tired of Sarah Palin. She's a circus sideshow act— willing to say or do anything for attention. I don't want my leaders having their own reality show... I'm just saying. Also, she doesn't have a chance at winning the upcoming election. IMHO, it would be their biggest downfall if the Republicans nominate her.

I have no problem if she decides to work outside the home or not. That is not the issue. The issue is far greater, it is if she is truly saved which I believe she is. If her personal convictions let her and what she is doing does not contradict the Bible, then she is not breaking any command in the Bible. It should not also dictate whether we vote for her or not, no one is perfect and we shouldn't judge others if they choose to do something that goes against our personal conviction.
On the other hand I appreciate it when mom's do stay home with their young ones. My mom did it for me and that is nothing to be looked down upon!

oh yes it is the issue. according to scripture, women should not be in the work force. It don't matter if it don't convict her, truth is truth! just because she doesn't believe one thing applies to her life doesn't mean that it is right. the same argument could be used for homosexuals. one could argue that they believe what they are doing is right, and as long as they are "saved" and they believe that what they believe is true, then they are OK. NO WAY . This has nothing to do with personal conviction, this is obvious and straight doctrine.
and yes, it makes a difference of whether or not we should vote for her, number one because she's there in the first place, number two, the very fact she's running for office shows she has some serious holes in her worldview. so Melvin, sorry, but that answer wont hold water.
