The Color Green... Again...

I can't believe that they cut out 6 songs from that video, and apparently it was all the Irish ones, cause here is the color green. No penny whistle, but there's piano and mandolin.

Hey man, glad you found these videos! Yeah, I can't believe they cut these songs out of the DVD release! I had to do some digging to find a copy of this. I remembered watching a rerun of the Live From Studio B broadcast back around 2001— before the commercial dvd came out. Well for me, the one stand-out performance on the show was Rich's version of Brother's Keeper— I remembered it for two reasons: the arrangement was very different than the album version and because Rich really messed up the lyrics and then joked about it during the song. Then, when the dvd came out, there was no Brother's Keeper! I was like, "What the heck?!?"

It was only this past year that I was able to track down a copy of the original 1997 broadcast and, to my shock, there were 6 songs that were never released!!! And they were all great songs! I'm really shocked that the instrumental, "John" wasn't released because that was never officially put out by Reunion Records. However, the real shock for me was "The Color Green". It's one of rich's truly CLASSIC songs— a major fan favorite! So, I need to offer a sincere thank you to the friend who sent me this truly fantastic dvd which is actually better than the commercial version that was released on "Here in America"! BTW, if you'd like a copy of the dvd, shoot me a message via YouTube. I'd be happy to send you a DVD! Take care!

Yes, am I glad. I told Perry I would post the Brothers Keepers one, it is so hilarious. Thank you again for taking time out for posting them.
I know, John should of been put on something. Maybe if he would have lived if would of popped up on a album.
I'll try to send ya a message, I would appreciate a copy if it's alright. ;)

Oh thanks about the picture. I had that taken while in Scotland, I saw that church door there and couldn't pass it up getting a picture there like that. :)
I just was reviewing the sound quality of a video I took at the Cliffs of Moher (Color Green music video location) with me playing the Jig part of The Color Green. In the near future I'll try to put that one up on my channel.

Blessings!
